The Fort Concho volunteer guide training program will be from 9 a.m. to noon March 31 and April 7 at the fort’s Barracks 1 Visitors Center at 630 S. Oakes St. There is no charge to attend the sessions, but future guides need to attend all three sessions. Guides will host visitors in various fort buildings on weekends and will also assist school tours and other group tours and special events.
w CONTROL MINISTRY: Needs volunteers to greet clients, conduct interviews, work in the food pantry, and answer telephones. The March food gift is macaroni and cheese. For more information, call 996-2636.
