Can I designate how I would like my gift to be used?

Answered By Aine Churches, Editor

Aside from giving you the freedom to choose the way you want to make donations to a certain charitable institution, you can also designate how you like your gift to be used. You can either designate it to the area of greatest need or allow the charitable institution itself to decide how the gift will be used. Furthermore, it gives you an option to make a gift in honor or in memory of another person (such as your loved ones).
